Home Office Deduction

Home Office Deduction

Remember the recent IRS ruling that disallowed home offices used for administrative or managerial functions? That decision is hisotry.. In a carry-over from the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997, this disallowance is now being disregarded. Business filers can now claim a deduction for a home office used strictly for administrative or managerial functions, as long as those activities occur "at no other fixed location."
