Activities

At specified times there are life guards on duty.  The times are subject to change, so if this is a concern then look at the times posted on the life guard stations.

Picnic tables are provided.  Grills for cooking are provided.  Vending machines are located on the beaches on both sides of the road.

Restroom facilities are available.

Weather

Summer Water Temp 80 degrees or more (The summer is also the hurricane season)

Winters are mild - but are too cold for swimming.

June (except for unusual drought or stormy times) will be the month with the most rain.

July and August will be the most humid and the warmest months.

January and February will be the coldest months and the least humid months.
