 The Answer

Have the computer compute the number of ounces -

Simply enter the size of tank, or fuel added, in gallons such as 4.0 (four gallons) and click the   how much   button to see the correct amount of oil to add for a correct 50 to 1 ratio.

              US gallons gas:
Ounces of oil to add is:

This is the Mathematics

Example:

GALLONS X 128 (ounces) / RATIO = OUNCES OF OIL TO MIX WITH GAS

6 gallons X 128 (ounces) / 50 (50:1 ratio) = 15.36 ounces of oil for 6 gallons of gas.

128 ounces = 1 gallon
1 ounce = 0.0296 liters
16 ounces = 1 pint
1 gallon = 3.789 liters
2 pints = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon

Always use the certified "NMMA TC-W" two cycle engine oil approved for your outboard motor.

Just remember that when in doubt, it's always best to add a little more oil which may foul the plugs a little.

Too little oil can damage the internal parts of a two stroke motor as that is your lubrication for crankshaft, bearings, connecting rods, etc.
