If you want to restrict access to your dock, simple ask for a dock hand to screen the potential of passers-by or autograph seekers. At THIS MARINA you can protect your lifestyle. Need a rest from the board of directors, the public, or just wanting to refresh your senses with the surrounding nature - this is your place.
Call in your evening meal and have it delivered to your gunwale, and charge to the credit card of your choice. You are not forced to join a club, neither are you forced to use a private club's card. On the other hand, if you prefer, ask a dockhand to transport you to one of the nearby restaurants of your choice - casual waterfront dining (cargo shorts, deck shoes, and Hook n Tackle type shirts will be welcomed), waterfront "old Florida", or a five star restaurant - its your choice, no commitments or required expenditures. A shopping center is a short walk away. Or ride your bicycle or ask for transportation. You will find restaurants, beverage stores, mailing services, internet services (if you do not want to use either of the two services available at your dock for your private use), a full-line grocery store (not a convenience store), medical services, a drug store and pharmacy, and three nearby places of worship.
Nearby beaches are available which are open to you for a casual stroll or a healthy swim. Use your own transportation, call a dock hand, or call a local limousine service. The Town of Longboat provides un-matched emergency services for medial attention, police, and other services. Normal time for ETA is less than a few minutes.
The Marina is in a private gated residential area of Longboat Key Florida. There are dockhands available. Choose maintenance crews offering quality and responsible services - OR bring your own crew for assistance.
Your slip? Wide finger piers, clean white docks (no bird droppings, no fish), trash bins at your slip, shore power, shore water, shore telephone, dock boxes (or bring your own) and strong cleats to fasten your lines. Both wireless, and cable broadband connections are available at your slip. Cable television is at each slip, and additional cable channels can be added by contacting Comcast. Bow to - or Aft to you have a view without being exposed to wave actions from the Gulf. As you sit on your aft deck, or fore deck, you can view birds as they take their evening flight home to the nearby rookeries. Listening quietly you may hear some of them call to you. Or you may hear the mullets jump in the water - or the last quiet evening bell of one of the nearby worship areas. You have privacy as there are no nearby hotels. The only nearby Condominium is sheltered by trees so that you are not in constant view. If you want to ride your bicycle, the marina has quiet streets absent heavy of traffic. In addition the streets are all residential so that you may ride down Harbourside Drive if you choose.
