Everyone - including government, business, individuals and families should be both socially and environmentally responsible. By presenting this section I intend to educate and inform. There is no resolution presented by me, there is no government intervention proposed by me, there is no action proposed. Sometimes it is only necessary to inform. As information is made available new topics will be added. I do not intend to promote topics that present no problems - so if the topic seems innocuous to you - forgive me, it might affect someone else more dramatically. In the context of the environment and in the terms of a CPA - "The debits equal the credits". Everything we do affects someone or something somewhere. If we use lumber treated with arsenic and chrome, it will cost less than lumber treated in alternate processes and the lumber will last longer. We have reduced our costs - but we cost someone else. The arsenic will not simply go away it will become a part of our water or food supplies and find its way into our, or our children's bodies. Arsenic invades the human body through the skin, by breathing or by ingestion. We do not want our cost saving to cost these lives:
